When a vehicle collided with a residential care home in Sunderland, it caused severe damage to the outer wall and a partial floor collapse.

Residents were safely evacuated, and Herron Demolition were called in to make the building safe.

Our team responded immediately — installing emergency propping, carefully removing the collapsed floor, clearing debris, and working closely with engineers to ensure the structure was secure.

Thanks to the rapid and safe completion of our works, residents were able to return to their homes as quickly as possible.
